The prostitute Marta's scheme of having her boyfriend Bill knock her clients unconscious and rob them goes horribly wrong one night: the client is dead and needs to be disposed of. While searching for a dumping ground, they nearly run over a homeless man, who is immediately tended to by the preacher Meredith, whereupon a supernatural presence transfers to him. Meanwhile, Marta and Bill end up with the "Collector" Cain, who works for the benefit of the satanic apocalypse and employs Marta as his assistant in his second job as a hypnotist at a club. There, he stumbles upon William Spanner, whose satanic roots he immediately recognizes. He forces him under his spell and, thanks to Marta's sexual advances, sends him on a soul-collecting mission. But the entity within the Reverend has other ideas...
