8 VERSIONS OF THE FILM!!

The fate of cop and karate specialist Chris Kenner (Dolph Lundgren) is inextricably linked to the murderous machinations of the Japanese mafia - the Yakuza. The gangsters once murdered his parents and today they are still his enemies on the streets of Los Angeles. Kenner, a fighting machine with samurai qualities, turns the task of eliminating the Japanese mafia into a very personal campaign of revenge. Together with his partner Johnny (Brandon Lee), wearing a leather jacket, a gun and plenty of oomph in his boots, Chris takes on the Yakuza!

Dolph Lundgren is an American samurai who is deeply rooted in Far Eastern traditions. Brandon Lee is a wisecracker with plenty of fighting spirit. And together they fight the underworld of Los Angeles. Mark L. Lester (PHANTOM COMMANDO) directed the action spectacle in fast-paced and explosive images.

8 different versions - how is that possible?
In the Warner master, an iconic scene was zoomed in heavily because equipment was visible in the picture. Using seamless branching, eight different versions were put on the discs.
Seamless branching is a process that allows multiple versions of a film to be placed on a DVD or Blu-ray disc in a space-saving manner. Not all versions are on the disc in their entirety, but rather the main part common to all of these versions and the scenes that differ from each other. During playback, the playback device switches seamlessly within these "branched" data paths and merges them "seamlessly" into the selected version.
