They were kept safe in the high security wing for twelve years. Now the four serious criminals Marcus, Poupousse, Gippé and Rafik finally manage to escape from prison. An old score still needs to be settled. The police are hot on their heels, however, and so they flee to the only place where they are guaranteed not to be searched for: a secluded Cistercian abbey.

Behind the thick monastery walls, an infernal, forced community develops between the imprisoned monks and the perpetrators of violence. A horrific game of cat and mouse in which bloodbath seems inevitable.

But the monks are not willing to die as martyrs…
