Move over, Ed Wood and Tommy Wiseau. Stupefying, incomprehensible, and utterly insane, SCARLET WARNING 666 goes beyond THE ROOM and PLAN 9.

3-DISC LIMITED COLLECTOR'S EDITION with embossed slipcover. Limited to 3,000 individually numbered copies.

Palmer Rockey's Scarlet Warning 666 is a singular work of outsider cinema that has developed a devoted cult following over the decades. Written, produced, directed, and starring Dallas-based filmmaker Palmer Rockey, the film began life in the 1970s as It Happened One Weekend before being re-edited and reworked under alternate titles including Scarlet Love and Love Is Deep Inside.

Rockey plays dual roles as twin brothers entangled in an eccentric narrative filled with mystery, symbolism, and rock-opera stylization. Initially misunderstood at its premiere, the film evolved over time as Rockey continued refining it and incorporating an original soundtrack featuring his own performances. The result is a unique cinematic artifact that blends personal vision with experimental storytelling.

Now restored by Grindhouse Releasing, this North American debut arrives in a deluxe limited collector’s edition. The film has been newly restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative. The set includes interviews with producer Cookie Rockey and co-star Dr. Ron DiSalvo, additional conversations with Jello Biafra and Jonny Trunk, plus an audio commentary by Reverend Ivan Stang of the Church of the SubGenius. Archival theatrical trailers and still galleries provide further insight into the film’s history.

A glossy illustrated booklet with liner notes by Chris Poggiali is housed in an embossed slipcover featuring new artwork by Jerry Martinez. The Blu-ray cover showcases artwork by Dave Lebow. The package also includes a newly remastered bonus CD of the Scarlet Love movie album in 24-bit/192kHz sound.

Produced by Academy Award-winning editor Bob Murawski, known for The Hurt Locker, Army of Darkness, and The Other Side of the Wind, this edition presents the definitive version of a long-unavailable cult film.
