It was supposed to be a romantic weekend, but it ended in a bloody inferno of terror. A young couple's happy trip turns into a horror trip when their path leads them through a tranquil mountain village that is under a centuries-old, deadly curse. A demonic creature is wreaking havoc there, always looking for new victims whose heads it can tear off. There is truly no escape from this nightmare. The film, which was not wrongly called "The Italian EVIL DEAD" in Italy, is not stingy with splatter and can boast that all effects and masks were made by hand - old school and without the use of CGI. Atmospherically dense, it draws you ever deeper into its web of horror.
The homogeneous combination of cinematographic ideas (fast tracking shots, etc.) with the catchy electronic soundtrack makes “Evil Clutch” a surprisingly successful debut film on the technical side as well.
