This time science has gone one giant step too far. A researcher, under strict government orders, has created genes that can wipe out all life on Earth at a moment's notice. He fights desperately against the evil machinations of his sponsors, trying to avert the worst in time. But it's too late. A parasite has already escaped and is slowly and sadistically sucking the life out of its defenceless victims. A murderous terror spreads as the parasite multiplies at a deadly rate. It is becoming a bestial menace to the Earth. It is almost too late. The scientist is barely keeping himself alive under cruel torture. He must find an antidote, or the monstrous thing cannot be stopped.
