On a Caribbean island, the battle over a planned power plant escalates. The locals fight back fiercely, but the vengeful island goddess Papaya intervenes with supernatural power. One by one, those involved in the construction project die horribly. Engineer Vincent and his girlfriend Sarah witness disturbing cannibalistic rituals and are drawn into a vortex of madness, violence, and death. Soon, the bloodthirsty love goddess has her sights set on them as well. Can they escape the island's deadly curse?

Joe D'Amato, a name many associate with hard horror films and sexploitation, mixes sex with cannibals in this work into a crazy cocktail that is sure to appeal to any lover of Italian cinema.
