Earl Brooks is a caring family man, devoted
husband and successful businessman. But behind this facade
lurks a dark secret. Driven by his alter ego Marshall,
Brooks sets out at night to murder. He chooses his victims
at random, and because he leaves no trace, the police are
in the dark. But there is a witness to his last crime:
amateur photographer Smith. And he likes what he saw. Instead of
reporting Brooks, he demands to be accompanied on his nightly murder spree
to be allowed to. Brooks becomes more and more entangled in the dark fantasies
of his uninvited accomplice. And the attractive investigator Tracy
Atwood is also hot on his heels...
