John Bolen, the substitute teacher of the future, answers stupid questions with bullets - he disciplines his students through murder and violence. In Monroeville, a small Californian town, he has taken on a new job and wants to get the gang problem under control there. The punk Santos and his gang terrorize his attractive colleague Jenna, who wants to testify against Santos in a murder case. Apparently John is a robot programmed for combat, who is invulnerable and eliminates one disobedient student after the other. But a government agent who needs John for a US Army experiment is after him and wants to put an end to the goings-on.
