In the middle of the Cold War, a US high-tech fighter jet crashes south of Malta. The jet is equipped with a brand new, fully electronic laser guidance system. Since the Soviet side has heard about the crash and is interested in the technology, they send the ice-cold KGB agent Andrei (Jean-Claude van Damme) to recover the wreckage. But the Americans also send their best agent Ken Tani (Sho Kosugi) to prevent the technology from falling into the wrong hands.
A dramatic duel ensues between the two super agents.
