Father George Tangerine hears the final confession of a child murderer who has been sentenced to death. She claims to be the reincarnation of the witch Ameth. Confused by this confession, George resigns from his priesthood. Years later, the priest Peter moves into an 18th century house with his wife Annie and their two children Martin and Carole. From the very first moment, strange things start happening in the house. They can't be coincidences. Peter investigates and finds out that the place where the house stands was used for burning witches during the Inquisition. A demon still rules over the house. Peter turns to George Tangerine.
