During the chaotic evacuation at Dunkirk in 1940, German saboteurs murder a group of British troops and assume their identities. Disguised as Allied soldiers, they slip into Britain with the mission to destabilize the home front. Captain Paul Stevens (Frederick Stafford), having survived the retreat, uncovers the infiltration plot and convinces the British High Command of the threat. He assembles a covert squad from among survivors in France to track down the imposters. The clock is ticking — one of the “British” officers he befriends might be one of the saboteurs.
