After eight-year-old Billy had to watch his parents being murdered by a psychopath dressed as Santa Claus, nothing is as it once was. Traumatized, he ends up in an orphanage, develops a deep aversion to the Christmas season and suffers from increasingly severe anxiety attacks. When, 13 years after that terrible night, he has to help out in a toy shop as Santa Claus, of all things, his past finally catches up with him: Billy goes mad, puts on the pointed cap and goes around the houses with an axe, thirsting for blood.
