In 1857, plantation owner Masterson rules his slaves, his wife, and his child with a heavy hand and demonic malice. But the slaves created a protective amulet for his family and placed a curse on him. 130 years later, psychiatrist David Young moves into the plantation house, along with pop singer Kate Christopher and her son Jason.
