Road House (1989) LE Mediabook - 4K UHD
Summary:
James Dalton (Patrick Swayze), a man with a dubious past and a degree in philosophy, works as a bouncer in bars and clubs. He is known for resolving conflicts between guests discreetly, but also harshly and uncompromisingly when necessary. Thanks to his professionalism, he soon gets a job as manager of the run-down Double Deuce nightclub, whose once good reputation he is supposed to restore. Together with the bouncers he trained, he quickly gains respect, stops fights and ensures that business flourishes again. However, the success of the Double Deuce makes it interesting for the protection racketeer Brad Wesley (Ben Gazzara) and his gang of thugs, who smell a lucrative business and want to really shake up and rob the place - but they haven't reckoned with Dalton!
