(2 Blu-rays) None other than cult director Brian Yuzna ("Bride of Re-Animator") took the acclaimed "Return of the Living Dead" series into the future with the legendary third installment, blending hardcore horror with a romantic subplot and plenty of sex appeal. Primarily responsible for the latter: Melinda Walker ("The OC," "Nikita"), who, in addition to the gore highlights typical of Yuzna, deserves credit for the most beautiful special effect in zombie history.
