Pink Narcissus (Blu-ray)
Director: James Bidgood
The work of artist and photographer James Bidgood, Pink Narcissus is a striking visual poem centered on the vivid daydreams of a young man who, from the seclusion of his ultra-kitsch apartment, imagines a series of interconnected fantasies populated by matadors, dancers, slaves, and leather-clad bikers.
With its hallucinatory visual style and atmosphere of lush decadence, Pink Narcissus stands as a landmark of experimental cinema. The film has been restored by the UCLA Film & Television Archive from original 35mm materials.
