Ann and Joanna, a mother-daughter team, run a quant hotel in a picturesque seaside resort in Dorset. When Joe Turner, a long-lost lover from Ann's past comes back on the scene after twenty years, he soon finds himself being pulled in two different directions. Especially, after discovering Ann has a full grown, and very attractive young daughter. Attempts to rekindle his relationship with Ann are sabotaged, when he realizes, the flirtatious Joanna is also attracted to him, and is also vying for his attention. Despite his strong feelings for Ann, Joe finds himself being strongly attracted to Joanna and is unable to resist her advances. Little does he know; Ann harbors a secret that could change the whole course of his life.
