After her mother's death, Linda (Jackie Kerin) takes over the old country house Montclare, which has been converted into a retirement home. Although she doesn't feel good about returning to the house, she takes on the role of manager - and soon strange incidents start to occur, footprints become visible, strange noises can be heard. And Linda begins to see a sinister figure in and around the old house, which seems to be following her.
