In this horrific tale of murder, madness, and perverse passion, a New Orleans wife and mother named Jane Baker carries on a torrid affair behind her family's back. When a violent car accident leaves her adulterous lover Fred decapitated, Jane suffers a severe breakdown and is sent to a mental institution. A year later, she returns and moves into a room in a large, gothic boarding house managed by Robert, a lonely blind man. While attempting to live in seclusion, Jane is actually keeping a horrifying secret: a gruesome remnant of her dead lover which she keeps hidden in her room. As her fragile mental state deteriorates, Robert and Jane's malicious daughter Lucy begin to notice her increasingly bizarre behavior, leading toward a shocking final twist and a wrath of bloody terror.
