Lucio Fulci is a legend. Even during his lifetime, there were many rumors about him. But he hardly ever gave interviews, and even more rarely did he appear in front of a camera. This unique video interview, recorded in June 1993, just three years before his death, shows him in a wheelchair due to his poor physical condition, but it also shows how lively his spirit was: intelligent, humorous, open, and likeable. In a good mood and directly, Fulci talks about life, women, Dario Argento and Mario Bava, about his early creative phase, the giallo, and how he persuaded Florinda Bolkan, who was then at the peak of her career, to take on the role in DON'T TORTURE A DUCKLING. He talks about his ambivalent relationship with his critics, about cinema itself, and about the concept of sin in his films, and shares interesting anecdotes about, among others, WOODOO.
A must-see for Lucio Fulci fans!
