A gruesome series of murders has terrified the small town of Patterson. The female corpses have two things in common: they were mutilated with an axe and all worked in mental hospitals. Despite the desperate efforts of the new sheriff to find the - obviously mentally disturbed - murderer, more and more murders are happening. Until one day, young Lilian believes she knows the perpetrator. Years ago, her cousin Charley was in the mental hospital after an accident. But who is Charley?
"Terribly underrated and a little ahead of its time."
