 When museum director Thorn opens a dusty box, he finds a rare book and unleashes a murderous demon. Shortly after, he meets a gruesome end when a figure burns him with a jet of fire. Some young people find the book, and the manuscript's deadly power triggers terrifying events. Walls move, the beautiful Linda is ripped from her boyfriend's arms by immense forces during lovemaking, a metal band causes heads to explode, and zombies hunt the teenagers. Even Detective Benjamin, assigned to investigate the case, seems powerless to stop the chaos.
